WELCOME TO THE HISTORY SECTION OF WHML.ORG! FOLLOW HOW WE HAVE GROWN AND DEVELOPED IN THE FIELD OF HEALTH AND MEDICAL SCIENCES OVER TIME. THE WORLD HEALTH, MEDICAL AND LIFE SCIENCES ORGANIZATION (WHML.ORG) IS A CIVIL SOCIETY ORGANIZATION THAT SUPPORTS GLOBAL INFORMATION SHARING, PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT, AND SCIENTIFIC RESEARCH IN THE FIELDS OF HEALTH, MEDICAL AND LIFE SCIENCES. WHML.ORG, FOUNDED IN 2000 BY LEADING PROFESSORS, ACADEMICS, SCIENTISTS, AND HEALTH PROFESSIONALS IN THEIR FIELD, OPERATES AS A NON-PROFIT AND INDEPENDENT ORGANIZATION. HEADQUARTERED IN THE NETHERLANDS, WHML.ORG IS REGISTERED WITH THE NETHERLANDS CHAMBER OF COMMERCE (KVK) AND HAS A GLOBAL PRESENCE.

WHML.ORG collaborates with a series of important organizations at the international level. These collaborations enable us to conduct joint projects and enhance information sharing in the fields of global health, medical and life sciences. Our international partners include:
Médecins Sans Frontières (Doctors Without Borders): By partnering with MSF, we deliver medical aid to people in need during emergencies such as wars, natural disasters, and epidemics. This partnership allows us to provide health services and save lives in the most challenging regions of the world. Projects conducted with MSF make significant contributions to humanitarian aid efforts.
International Pharmaceutical Federation (FIP): By collaborating with FIP, we contribute to the development of the pharmacy profession and promote the safe and effective use of medicines. This partnership enables us to organize training programs to enhance pharmacists’ professional knowledge and skills and contribute to the formulation of drug policies. Projects conducted with FIP aim to increase the contribution of the pharmacy profession to public health.
International Council of Nurses (ICN): By partnering with ICN, we work to strengthen the nursing profession and improve working conditions for nurses. This collaboration allows us to organize training programs for nurses’ professional development and contribute to the establishment of international standards in the field of nursing. Projects conducted with ICN aim to strengthen the role of nurses in health services.
Gavi, the Vaccine Alliance: By collaborating with Gavi, we support vaccination programs in developing countries and increase children’s access to vaccines. This partnership helps us raise vaccination rates against preventable diseases such as polio, measles, and pneumonia, and reduce child mortality. Projects conducted with Gavi contribute to achieving global vaccination targets.
The Global Fund: By partnering with the Global Fund, we combat epidemic diseases such as HIV/AIDS, tuberculosis, and malaria. This collaboration supports programs for the diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of these diseases and improves patients’ quality of life.
