WELCOME TO THE LIFE SCIENCES SECTION OF WHML.ORG! DISCOVER LIFE IN ALL ITS FORMS AND COMPLEXITIES. THE WORLD HEALTH, MEDICAL AND LIFE SCIENCES ORGANIZATION (WHML.ORG) IS A NON-PROFIT ORGANIZATION THAT PROVIDES A GLOBALLY INFLUENTIAL PLATFORM IN THE FIELD OF LIFE SCIENCES. WHML.ORG, FOUNDED IN 2000 IN THE NETHERLANDS BY PROFESSORS, ACADEMICS, SCIENTISTS, AND HEALTH PROFESSIONALS, IS NOW ACTIVE IN NINE REGIONS OF THE WORLD: EUROPE, ASIA, THE MIDDLE EAST, AFRICA, OCEANIA, THE CARIBBEAN, NORTH AMERICA, CENTRAL AMERICA, AND SOUTH AMERICA. WHML.ORG CARRIES THE MISSION OF BEING A PIONEERING ORGANIZATION THAT ENCOURAGES AND SUPPORTS EDUCATION, RESEARCH, PUBLISHING, AND VOLUNTEERING ACTIVITIES IN THE FIELD OF LIFE SCIENCES.
Life Sciences is a broad field of science that examines life and how it functions. This field includes various subdisciplines such as physics, chemistry, biology, geology, astronomy, and environmental sciences. Life Sciences conduct a systematic research process to understand the structure and function of the living world, explain life events, and use this knowledge for the benefit of humankind. Life Sciences provide significant contributions in many areas, from human health to environmental protection, energy production to technology.
Physics: The science that studies the fundamental properties of matter and energy and their relationships. It is divided into subfields such as classical physics, quantum physics, thermodynamics, and electromagnetism.
Chemistry: The science that studies the composition, structure, properties, and changes of matter. It is divided into subfields such as organic chemistry, inorganic chemistry, analytical chemistry, and physical chemistry.
Biology: The fundamental science that studies the structure, functions, growth, origins, evolution, and distribution of living things. It is divided into subfields such as cell biology, plant biology, and animal biology.
Geology: The science that studies the structure, composition, and history of the Earth. It is divided into subfields such as mineralogy, petrology, paleontology, and seismology.
Astronomy: The science that studies the universe, celestial bodies, and their movements. It is divided into subfields such as cosmology, astrophysics, and planetary science.
Environmental Sciences: The science that studies the relationships between humans and their environment. It includes subfields such as ecology, environmental chemistry, environmental biology, and sustainability sciences.
WHML.ORG offers internationally and nationally recognized academic programs in the field of Life Sciences. These programs provide students with high-quality educational opportunities by collaborating with accredited universities and research institutions worldwide. Various programs are available at the undergraduate, master’s, and doctoral levels. In addition, professional development courses and certification programs are also organized. These programs help Life Sciences professionals update their knowledge and skills and advance in their careers.
