WELCOME TO THE ENGINEERING SCIENCES SECTION OF WHML.ORG! BRIDGE THE GAP BETWEEN ENGINEERING AND HEALTH TO PRODUCE INNOVATIVE SOLUTIONS FOR WELLNESS. THE WORLD HEALTH, MEDICAL AND LIFE SCIENCES ORGANIZATION (WHML.ORG) IS A NON-PROFIT ORGANIZATION PROVIDING A GLOBALLY INFLUENTIAL PLATFORM IN THE FIELD OF ENGINEERING SCIENCES. FOUNDED IN 2000 IN THE NETHERLANDS BY PROFESSORS, ACADEMICS, SCIENTISTS, AND HEALTH PROFESSIONALS, WHML.ORG NOW OPERATES IN NINE REGIONS AROUND THE WORLD. THESE REGIONS ARE EUROPE, ASIA, THE MIDDLE EAST, AFRICA, OCEANIA, THE CARIBBEAN, NORTH AMERICA, CENTRAL AMERICA, AND SOUTH AMERICA. WHML.ORG CARRIES THE MISSION OF BEING A LEADING ORGANIZATION THAT ENCOURAGES AND SUPPORTS EDUCATION, RESEARCH, PUBLISHING, AND VOLUNTEER ACTIVITIES IN THE FIELD OF ENGINEERING SCIENCES.
Engineering Sciences is the discipline of designing and constructing structures, machines, systems, and processes using mathematics and scientific principles. This field includes various sub-disciplines such as Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Computer Engineering, and Biomedical Engineering. Engineering Sciences have a wide range of applications aimed at developing innovative solutions, increasing efficiency, and improving human life.
Mechanical Engineering: A branch of engineering that deals with the design, analysis, production, and maintenance of machines, systems, and processes. It covers topics such as thermodynamics, fluid mechanics, and material science.
Electrical Engineering: Focuses on electricity, electronics, and electromagnetic fields. It includes subfields such as power systems, electronic circuits, communication systems, and control engineering.
Civil Engineering: Involves the design, construction, and maintenance of buildings, bridges, roads, and other infrastructure projects. It has subfields such as structural engineering, geotechnical engineering, and water resources engineering.
Chemical Engineering: Focuses on the design and development of chemical processes. It includes subfields such as petrochemical, biochemical engineering, and environmental engineering.
Computer Engineering: Deals with the design and development of computer systems and software. It includes subfields such as software engineering, hardware engineering, and artificial intelligence.
Biomedical Engineering: Involves the application of engineering principles in medicine and biology. It includes subfields such as medical devices, biomaterials, and biomechanics.
